NECI Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD) Course

     Anyone interested in becoming a Public Safety Telecommunicator in the state of New Jersey must posses two professional certifications; a basic 9-1-1 officer certification and an Emergency Medical Dispatcher certification. The state accepts those certifications from only a few professional organizations and the National Emergency Communications Institute (NECI) is one of those organizations, and their certifications are also accepted nationwide. Come learn from an instructor with 18 years experience in the field!

This 30 hour course is offered through The Brooks Institute in three convenient ONLINE formats: 

    Format  A: The Accelerated Format - 1 week long,

                            Mon-Thu, 8 hrs/Day   ($300)

    Format B: The Extended Format -  3 weeks long,

                            Mon-Fri, 3.5 hrs/Night  ($400)

    Format C: The Expanded Format - 7 Weeks long,

                            Saturdays, 4.25 Hours  ($400)

Keepers of the Sacred Mysteries

     This workshop was specially designed with the contemporary Christian leader in mind, however, it didn't take long to see that the content is relevant and essential for laity and clergy leadership alike. Through this content rich instruction, believers, servants, and clerics will obtain a fundamental, basic understanding of the origin and history of the Christian church, the classifications and functions of church leadership, the types and uses of vestments and clerical attire, church protocol and liturgy, the ceremonies of the Church and so much more!

     This workshop takes a quick look at the fundamentals of effective preaching in the 21st century context. We will cover what preaching is; methods of choosing a topic, text and delivery; and effective research methods. This clinic will be used as a primer for developing an entire class at a later date.
